| Hi,
I use my xbox through a DSL modem that goes through a router(dlink DI604).
i have PPPoE enabled, and have used this set up without issue for over a year.
All of a sudden, without warning, i will be disconnected from teh sevice,
usually during a game of HALO 2. the screen will go to the blue "setting up
game" screen and when it returns, i am alone and everyone else shows grey as
if they left, when it is really me that left.
then when i try to reconnect, it says it is unable to and starts
troubleshooter. without exception, the PPPoE screen has changed itsself to
"off". when i go back in, change it to on, i am generally able to reconnect
at that time.
1) why am i getting booted in the middle of my games?
2) why is it changing my PPPoE settings?
