Hi all,

As xbox-live doesn't work with a modchip, do you think it would be
possible to boot a game from the hard disk, switch off the chip, then go
into xbox live without getting banned.

Has anyone tried this?

Thanks.

Well can you play that game that's on your Hard Drive with the Mod chip off
right now without being on LIVE? I don't think so. Maybe for a bit until
it needs to access something else and then your going to have problems.

XBL updates sent directly to your Xbox (regardless of the game) check for
modified hardware. If it finds modified hardware you will be banned.

your own risk.

No u cannot play copied games on xbox live. plain and simple. Your xbox
boots from the bios ( of course ) and when xbox live sees that modified
bios it will ban you, turning off your xbox after u boot a game dont
matter. it still sees a modified bios.
