I have a 2Wire HomePortal 1000SW on my XP Home system and the MS MN-740 Xbox
Wireless Adapter.
When my son tries to connect it doesn't work.
I'm dumber than the dust inside my computer when it comes to getting things
to work together in the computer world and I'm definitely in need of help;
where do I start?

You have to enable wep on the mn-740 thru the xbox dashboard and enter in
the wep key (which is found on the bottom of the 2wire)
