Steve,

What kind of a job was that. I have replaced drives before. Any tips?

Thanks

I think so - depends on the mod chip that you have and how u switch it from
on to off

Hold on there, we didn't say anything about adding a mod chip. Don't add a
mod chip, or you will be banned the second you sign on xbox live. The only
thing we're talking about here is replacing the DVD Drive, which doesn't do
anything to change the Xbox. And it won't get you banned, since it neither
adds nor modifies any functionality to the xbox. A replaced DVD Drive
simply lets you play your original legitimate Xbox games, exactly as you
could before.
