| Hi there, just wanted to report on my experience with the Logitech wireless
headset for XBox Live.
I picked this up at Best Buy after looking at the review on CNet.com
thinking that it would be a good replacement for the one I've been using
since the Live beta test. It fits the ear comfortably, and didn't take that
long to charge either. Unfortunately I found that it pops and cracks way too
much. So much so that the icon indicating sound on Halo II just keeps
flashing, which I am sure annoys the other participants.
In looking further on the net, I found even in Logitech's own forums that
people are complaining about the device -- event after spending time going
through and removing devices of interference like cordless phones and the
like.
I have usually been impressed by Logitech's quality in mice, keyboards and
even their joysticks. However this is one purchase that is going to go back
to Best Buy very quickly. I'll settle for the Halo II platronics headset --
even though it's wired. Moral of this story -- MORE research is needed on my
part before I purchase something
Has anyone else tried this out?

| I messed around with that headset some. It picked up a lot of game noise.
It also became painful to wear after a while. The GameCom X20 and the Halo
2 headset from Plantronics are much better
