Another idea for xbox live.

My mom asked me if there was any game I wanted for christmas. I couldn't
think of one but what did come to mind was why doesn't Microsoft sell some
kind of gift certificate to purchase and use for xbox live downloadable
content? It would be cooli if parents could give their kids a certificate
wtih some scratch off code that allows me $5, $10 , $25 or $50 credit on
xbox live so they could use it to download some xbox live arcade games or
some new maps on games that offer those options for a price. Some parents
don't like to have kids charging stuff directly to their credit card (yes, I
know that can be turned off)

There are credit cards that can be pre-loaded with cash. You can use
that card exclusively for your Xbox live subscription, and then your mom
can just put money on that card whenever she wants. When you go to
purchase content, if there isn't enough money in the account, the
purchase will just be rejected.

Yeah, that is another option, but I still think Microsoft is missing out by
not offering some kind of downloadable content gift certificates.
Thanks for your input.
