| This has probably been asked before but I am new to this group - sorry!
A friend, who has no PC has asked me to find out how (or if!) the following
is possible.
He wants to link his xbox to broadband without the use of a pc.
Is this possible?
Once this is done he wants to share the internet connection so that two
xboxes and two tele's can run side by side in his living room! Is this
possible all without the use of a PC?
thanks

Yes you can do everything you want to do.You can use a broadband router to
attach a number of devices to your broadband connection.
The only issue you may have is that a PC is usually required to set up the
device initially - such as setting up your preferred settings for internal
IP addressing or the connection strings (if required by your ISP).
But this can be done on another PC prior to you dropping it into your
environment.
once the router is installed you do not need a PC for anything and your
Xboxes can all go out thorough this connection to Xbox Live.
