| A subscription code also comes with some of the Live! games. Of course,
someone here may offer you an extra code, too.

| I had a subscription code from a live game but I was living in a village so
couldn't get broadband. Thankfully I've moved so now i get broadband, but
that subscription code from the live game has expired :-( so if anyone does
have a spare subscription code please please share. I've ordered a starter
kit from amazon which comes with Splinter Cell 2?? for £27 didn't sound
right must be something missing from it right?

| You really should get the starter pack because you get a headset with it.
Purchasing Xbox Live for 12 months + a new headset (you can buy them
separately) would usually amount to more than just 1 starter kit.

| Yes, you need the headset. Being able to talk with other players is
what makes multiplayer really good

| You need the Starter kit to install the Required LIVE software. But also so
that you get the Headset which is really required. After all, your playing
against other people, and with no headset it's almost like playing against
the computer.
Really the Price of the LIVE starter pack is reasonable. A price of 1 game.
In fact you make out better your first year of service, because after that
you still paying as much to use LIVE for the year, but your not getting
another headset.
