Is it just me or does the xbox sorely need an online enabled Air Combat type
game with modern jet fighters? The xbox has had several WWI/WWII type
flight sim games, and Air Force Delta Storm was ok, but I want one with xbox
live functionality. I want to be able to fly a modern jet such as a F22 ,
Eurofighter or Rafale online against my friends or co-op with my friend as
my wingman.

Anyone else think this is a good idea? I think there is a major gap in the
xbox catalog without an online flight sim.

Microsoft, are you listening?

Yes, everywhere has been starved of good modern flight sims (other then Lock
On, which IMO wasn't brilliant) there just doesn't seem to be much demand
for them at all lately.

However anything over then a pure arcade flight game wouldn't work on a
console, as history has shown.

But you've gotta admit, there's a lot more fun in getting in close, pushing
your plane to the limit hearing the airframe creek and the wind blow in
through the bullet holes in your canopy as you push it so hard into a climb
following your target and desperately trying to avoid a stall just so you
can just get a quick burst across your target's cockpit - rather then just
getting a missile lock tone and pressing a button. 8-)

I'd like something similar to this as well. Crimson Skies doesn't cut it for
me anymore.
