Author Replacing Communicator Adapters

Lets say your communicator adapter for Xbox live is broken, stolen, or
swallowed by your dog.

Do you HAVE to buy another headset to get it, or can you find it
somewhere to just replace that? (And preferably save a few bones.)

I'm assuming they would.. Even if its just that you don't want to buy
the stupid headset, but I haven't located one yet.

You have to buy the whole headset to get the adapter, there is no other way
to do it
