Interesting trick with Wraith tank

| On the mission where you have to escort the scarab in a banshee,
instead of flying to the main entrance, I landed and took command of a
wraith tank, drove under water and got to the island with the main
entrance. I then tested to see how steep of a wall the tank could
climb and damn if it didn't do a 70-75 degree climb!! Same when I
hopped out and attempted to climb it with the Elite. Anyone else
notice this.

| Sounds interesting, so I will try that method too.
Could you really get all the way up to the entrance port? -I mean the port,
that is blown open by the shot from the scarab.

| I agree about this:
* Driving under water!
* Getting up on the island!
* Up at about 75 degree!
I didn't get to the entrance port, but i guess that this should also be
possibles.
Funny to notice, that these Wraith vehicles can drive under water without
problems....

| All the Covenant vehicles are watertight, so there's no need to worry about
engine flooding or anything.

Huh? Try flying a Banshee underwater and see how far you get.

Both Banshees and Wraiths are hover crafts. I don't think that the Banshee
is heavy enough to get down under the water. But the Wraith tank is, and
please test it yourself, because it is quite surprising!

I see I wasn't clear. If you fly a Banshee into the water, you will die.

Then it apparently differs through the game. I flew one into the water
that is immediately ahead as you come out of the door to meet Sgt.
Johnson in the Scarab, and I died.
My most entertaining suicide so far has been tossing a plasma grenade
high, running forward, and having it land on me. Of course, I was trying
to, so it may not count.
