| Definitely. The Da Vinci Code and its prequel, Angels and Demons, are really
good. I suggest you read them. All the related things between old buildings
and symbols on Earth and structures on Halo point to the Forerunner having
come from here. But I don't think that Earth is shielded from Halo's power,
because the Forerunners obviously all died from activating it, and it seems
a little strange that none of them were on Earth. I think they were all
wiped out billions of years ago, and then life re-evolved here, but a few
relics were left behind, including, I suspect, the Ark.
