| I activated an account and went online earlier. I've been playing for
about three and a half hours in "the rumble pit" - mostly eight-person
games of slayer, with a couple of games of Oddball mixed in.
I most often finished about fourth but sometimes finished first or
second and sometimes finished last or close to last ... I hate
Colossus.  It reminds me of Hang 'Em High - seems designed to
emphasize the weaknesses in my game.
It's cool to see so many good players ... in the lan parties I've been
in, there's usually one or two people who have mastered movement, the
controller, etc. On Xbox Live, it seems like most people have. Of
course, those willing to go Live are a self-selecting group, mostly
people who love Halo, I'm sure.
