| haloported is a term that i and my friends invented when
in campaing you were teleported next to your buddy to
another area, in others words when you or your buddy were
left behind and apperared next to you in a check point or
a load point.
in some way i miss this haloported stuff a lot, cos is
anoyyoing been looking for more than a half hour for an
exit in a place.
in Halo you can go for yourself and find the exit in a
level and automatically your buddy goes whit you, but now
you have to be whit him/her all the time, what i consider
useless.
HALOPORTED i miss you a lot, please come back!

"Haloporting", as you call it, still happens. It just seems to not
happen as often now.

And be careful. I got dropped into the center of a group of elites who
proceded to beat the crap out of me.

| If you or your buddy got THAT lost, someone was doing something wrong.

I think it's great that they made it so you reset at the last
checkpoint if either player dies. It's still easier to play
multiplayer (twice the firepower, twice the weapon options, twice the
grenades, two targets instead of one to divide enemy fire) but the
massive loophole that would let any pair of players cheat to get
through most tough spots is gone. (The cheat I am talking about is the
one where a player lingers in safety while another runs with guns
blazing - repeat as many times as needed - basically, the damage you
inflict counts; the damage you suffer does not count, since you'll
just respawn anyway. HUGE balance problem. I have heard of people
pulling a "dummy" second player along for this purpose.

| Well that whole reset thing only happens on legendary. I dont really mind it
but it is a annoyance because now on that occasional time where I die, I
have to continue to redue things, especially when my partner is really bad
at this kind of stuff and is more of a target then anything.
