| Ok, well I think its time to do what is necessary...Im tired of reading how
people are leaking Halo 2 screenshots, and the actual GAME itself!! If you
ask me that is not only childish, but straight out disrespectful, Come on
people...grow up!! So now that everyone wants to ruin their Nov. 9th
holiday, I am staying away from all the mess that the "children" have
created! And by that i mean the fact that all you immature people out there
that cant wait 25 more ****ing days for a game that Bungie/Microsoft have
put their hearts into, not to mention ALL of their time away from
family/loved ones to make such a great game for YOU people!! I am shutting
off my computer tonight, and until Nov. 9th, it STAYS off! I dont want to
hear about people looking for the game, people downloading the game, and
people putting up "secret" screen shots of the game! If Bungie wanted it
out, they would have shipped it out earlier, or put up the game itself for
all of you greedy bastards to download! Now i'm going to buy 2 copies just
so Bungie can have MY hard earned money because some morons just have to
download it! I know that some of you will get pissed and reply about this,
but if you think about it...ITS WRONG! When are people going to grow up??
I'm waiting for this game just like the other million people out there...so
why cant they! I love looking at the newsgroup postings and helping people
out, but it has just gone to far now. So here it is people...I just want to
say that you should think twice before you want to go looking for Halo 2
early, not only will it ruin the fun, but its ILLEGAL! Much appreciation
goes out to the people that agree with me and will avoid the immature stunts
and get it on Nov. 9th! See you guys in November!

I think you missed the point of some of those posts. The one about someone
trying to download Halo (I know it was Halo 1, but it's still the same
point) was not met with aid; it was met with about ten angry posts
everywhere from your level to threats of shooting flaming arrows into them.
In other words, we've been on your side the whole way.

| you can easily be annoyed at the release of Halo 2 which is irresponsible of
the person in question, i hope the money was worth it for him, but it was
always going to be released as a pirate version at least a week before
official release, just look at every other game, dvd etc.
Just wait i guarentee GTA: San Andreas will appear very soon for PS2 on
newsgroups etc.
Its not the piracy as such thats the problem for M$/Bungie in this case, its
the fact that someone will spill the beans on the story which bungie is
desperate to keep a secret until Nov 9th. The fact is that the story,
effects etc will always come out ahead of official release, from magazines
etc and also other groups releasing it, as the version i believe that has
been leaked is in french.
