Just a curious question... Napoleonic Soldiers -vs- Civil War

| I'm told that the last Civil War soldier died in 1959. This is incredible
to me. I was wondering, is it possible that there may have been a
Napoleonic soldier still alive at the turn of the 20th century? It's
mathematically possible!

A 15 year-old fighting at Waterloo would 'only' have been 100 in 1900.

| It does seem very late, though I also have heard it.
I believe that there are about 12 British WWI veterans still left, and they
are all obviously VERY old. It is hard to believe that the last will survive
to 2012 (98 years after the start of the war, the same figure as for the
ACW). If we take 94 years from the end of the war, that would have the last
Napoleonic vet dying about 1909.
