| Supposedly this is able to install on an XP system? I cannot even get it to
install at the present time, and tech support seems to be ignoring me thus
far. I know that there is a patch that allows one to play this game on an
XP based machine, but it will not do me any good if I cannot at least
install the game first.
This situation is quite distressing, as I heard many a good thing about this
title, and I am forlorn that I have spent money on something that I was
hoping to enjoy during my week-long vacation.
Is there anyone here who may have had a similar experience? I must admit
that I had just installed Service Pack II, and this might be an issue.
On this note, is there anyone here that might suggest another good
alternative U.S. Civil War game? I have a strong suspicion that Sid Meir's
Civil War Collection is the best thing going, even after seven years. I
recall with a great deal of fondness the complexity of KOEI's games, in
spite of their outward simplicity.
