| I'd personally rank the original six missions as follows:
6: Wurzburg Radar (I just don't like it. Normally play as an Allied
soldier, and it's either over too quickly, or there's a massive
bottleneck at the main entrance.)
5: Seawall Battery (It should be the best mission in the game, given
that it's based on the iconic Normandy Landing level of Medal of
Honour, which is probably my all-time favourite gaming experience.
However, it's usually over too soon.)
4: Railgun (Not bad, but gets repetitive.)
3: Fuel Dump (Some good fun to be had with the Axis MG late on, and
chasing/repairing the tank is always a fun challenge for an Allied
engineer.)
2: Siwa Oasis (Usually a tough one, with several clearly-defined
phases of action.)
1: Goldrush (The classic! It almost always goes the distance, and
again the action takes place in several distinct phases, offering a
great deal of variety for a single map. I've never successfully stolen
the gold, but I'm normally responsible for the safe passage of the
tank, in my role as suicidal engineer. Manning the tank's MG is great
fun, like a kind of rodeo ride; you never know how long you'll last,
but it's always exhilarating. My best ET experience was the time we
escaped with the goal after a see-saw battle; there were literally
around 2 seconds left...)
Of the unofficial missions, I adore Caen (best by a mile) and enjoy
Venice. Stalingrad is fun too, but I seldom can find a server playing
it.
