Somehow I doubt I have the courage to talk to my boss and colleagues
like a pirate.

this day.

In honor of the date, I installed a plug-in on my web site last week
that turns all posts marked to use the plug-in into pirate talk. What
I didn't realize is that in addition to any posts marked for pirate
talk, the entire site is piratized all day today. So I have a few
posts today that will be permanantly piratized when viewed later, but
for today, the entire site is piratized. It made me laugh when I
realized that.

I keep bumping into that silly quotation attributed to me that says

floats like a rumour, repeated again and again. - Bill Gates

I was reading it today. It was funny... at first. When it was still doing
it on your 17th September posts I just presumed you had gone mad.

Yes. It appears to be a bug, as after International Talk Like a
Pirate Day, it's still piratizing everything after the last
intentionally piratized post. So I'm going to have to turn off that
feature and check with the plug-in creator to see if I can figure out
why it won't turn off.
