Well, sort of......from my wrists to my fingertips. :D

I ran across some old supplies for marbling, and had
myself a great time with the enamel paints this evening.

Got some nice papers made for spring cardmaking, but
also colored my hands in the process. I'm such a klutz
sometimes I amaze myself.

But hey, this is a fast & easy thing to do, and I know a
couple of crafty folks in here, so I thought I'd mention it
just to jog memories. I mean, all you need are some paints,
water, and Borax to condition the water, and off you go!

Oh, don't forget to cover the work surface with newspapers!
This was a life saver tonight when Jessica jumped up and
managed to knock over a bottle of teal paint. I damn near
had a heart attack, but all ended well, thank goodness.
Only got a spot of paint on the carpet, so I'm really glad I
bought a fresh container of mineral spirits last weekend.
(I shouldn't have been doing this in the dining room, but I
wanted to watch TV with Ross as I did this. Dummy me knows
better......)

So, what did y'all do today?

Ye gods- I'm glad it's not me driving around Dallas on a weekday.
<shudder>
Well, once you're at the work site, you don't have to zip around, I
guess. But still.........I remember that traffic very vividly. :o}

That's why I never got into those games with the hex grids and dozens of
square cardboard playing pieces. I tried a couple times and just when I got
my "armies" laid out one of the cats would jump up and scatter them. Cats
and Avalon Hill games don't get along.

<sigh> Cats and jigsaw puzzles don't get along, either.

But, I've figured out a way- heavy gauge clear vinyl sold
by the yard at Wally World. Cover the whole area and it's
almost foolproof. To be sure, weight down the corners.

I don't know how many puzzle pieces I lost before figuring
that out.......
