| What a gnarly day. I feel guilty whining about anything,
because Ross & I are doing better than most in the Gulf
coast region, but man we had an ugly day.
We evidently picked up a cold/flu virus while we were
among the teeming masses Friday night- both of us woke up
today feeling like 5 pounds of poop in a 2-pound sack.
Then in the early afternoon, our central air conditioning
gave up the ghost. The compressor motor died the big death.
It was 100+ outside, and the poor frazzled repairman didn't
get here until almost 8:00pm.
We had cool air again at about 9:15 Pacific time.
AC repairmen RULE. And make big bucks working
double overtime. Could be a lucrative second career here
in the desert. :o}
Dosed Ross with Nyquil and tucked him in, but I'm not
sleepy yet. Thought I'd amuse myself with Benji for awhile.
