Well, all this talk of wireless made me break down and buy the SanDisk
Connect Plus for my PDA. It should arrive next week. So, I'll not only
get a nice Compact Flash 802.11b card, but I'll also get another 128 MB
of storage, all in one card (which is good, since my ancient iPaq only
has a single CF slot).

I wound up fighting on eBay for it. After getting sniped seven times, I
finally won it in a Dutch auction, but only after pumping an extra buck
into my max bid with an hour to go, then getting an attempted snipe and
barely winning the auction. I'm still kicking myself for missing it on
w00t.com for $20 + $5 shipping a couple of weeks ago, since I wound up
spending about $2 more.

Anyway, I hope I don't run into any problems with setting it up. I did
manage to hook my old router up that has the WAP to my new router and
did get a wired computer onto the Internet that way, so I should be good
to go.

That's slowly changing, though. My 802.11b router is actually slower
than my current connection.

You could always make your 26-character hex keys into 26-character
l337-sp33k hex phrases. They're a lot easier to remember that way.

Slowly, but it'll be a while.
