Just discovered that Google has added satellite overview of the UK.

Sleaford, in Lincolnshire, where my step-daughter lives is not a high
resolution scan area, unfortunately.

However, it does appear that Google has fixed the "pub search" problem
and you now actually get local pubs instead of everything but.

Also there's a cool "hybrid" map setting that allows you to overlay
roads onto the satellite imagery.

I read it, still didn't answer the question. They claim '91 but other
dates say newer.
