Oh, dual core will certainly remain socket 939 for a while. My
concern is how quickly AMD is moving on to another interface, if they
are indeed doing so. I believe we will be able to get processors for
a couple more years on socket-939 boards. But it just seems like 939
just came out, and to already announce plans to start building to a
new core seems, I don't know, rather quicker than I'd like them too.
In other words, foolish concerns on my part, but I would still like
the comfort of hearing "Oh yes, our next generation will still be
socket 939."
