| ......where the hell are all of you? Too busy to get your butt in
here and visit with me, huh? Well, that's just totally unacceptable!
Whether you realize it or not, I've saddled all of you with the
responsibility of keeping me company, and when I don't see you
for a couple of days I get lonesome!
Then I get worried- worried that something has happened to
you. Like Thrasher was supposed to be back by now, so I'm
worried about him.
You don't want to worry me, you know- I do things like pick
up the phone and harass you that way. :D

A chance to do *what*? <drum roll, please!> :ož
Dang, I figured you were on holiday. Probably did it just
to make me jealous, huh? LOL
My friend Bo, from another group, just got back from Rome,
Italy, the lucky dog. It was his granddaughter's first birthday, so
he went there to celebrate with them. He showed us a gorgeous
photo of him sitting on the edge of a really wonderful old fountain-
it looked *so* cool and refreshing.
We're set to break the standing records for high temperatures
this whole weekend.
Oh yipee. Oh jump up and down. Oh XXXX.
So, where'd you go? Take any pics?

To churn through (for the last time, hopefully) about 250 photos, that's
what.

It happens. Sometimes I get so distracted by people or conversation
that I forget I even have a camera. That's my excuse for Christmas day,
anyway. Didn't take a single shot.
Well, I missed you, and am glad you are back. I wish you'd let me
send you some coin, so the next time you travel you could buy me
something from there. I desperately need some new knick-knacks.
Teacups would be wonderful, but whatever. And I'd gladly pay the
postage.
But it's a moot point, cuz you won't tell me your address. <sigh>

My first time in Italy was kinda ruined by a shitty 'hotel' (call it "one
room plus bathroom") in the middle of a sleepy (dormant, more like)
village called Villanova. But the Italians themselves didn't put me off
wanting to return to Italy... only to another destination though.

Well, Malta's a great place if you like lacework, filigree silver (that's
fecking intricate silverwork!), peace and quiet, nightclubs, sun, history,
etc.

I did something like that a few years ago. Up the California coast a short
ways, above the Russian River, is a small colony of some eastern religion
(I forget which, exactly), and they have gorgeous buildings. They hosted an
open house to raise money, charging something like $10-15 a head to come
snoop. They gave the usual gobbledygood pitch at the end (made utterly no
sense to me, like a timeshare for the logic-deprived) but it was a very
pretty place.

The bus? Until recently, that was one of the more modern ones. I guess I'm
going to have to put up more photos of them.
As for the car, well... the Maltese youngsters have cottoned on to car
mods. Some of their cars have bodykits, some have ICE's, some have decals,
etc. Some do look quite impressive. And some don't. ;)

So I'm wondering (both about the following question, and about whether I
asked it before): Do you edit your photo's, apart from cropping? Or are

I like the street shots, and the doorways:

I do as little work as possible, regarding my photos. The only editing I
might do is "convert to black and white", add 'film grain' or apply a
colour-tint. Deliberate image manipulation (photo montage,
removal/replacing of something in a photo) is not something I do.

Hardly! The old witch *could* have had folks lined up to
buy her wares, had a photo of her work been passed around
the 'net!!
I say she asked too much for a photograph, as normal folks
would have been flattered to have been asked in the first place.
Hey, I can type faster when I'm all pissed off.............

Then I guess I won't tell you about my Rifter, that I have tricked out
in the game. With its dual injectors that boost my speed from its
stock 250Ms to 425Ms.
I have three 200mm autocannons. One loaded with proton loads, to smack
down shields. The other has plutonium sabot rounds to shred the hull
and the third has depleted uranium slugs to add injury to insult.
But the best part is my missile turret that fires hard hitting
missiles with a secondary magnetic explosive that whacks an enemy ship
for up to 80 points of damage.
On top of that I have double shield boosters that augment energy-
shield output.
It's pretty sweet for a n00b ship.

Ahh, good
*hugs*
Hey, I saw you post over at alt.binaries.clip-art or something like that.
My brother was trolling there to get ideas for me to make vinyl decals of,
and I was like "Shit! I know her!"

Yup, that's me! That's the only one I post in, but I look
into several more and snag what I want. I get some cute cat
photos from news:alt.binaries.pictures.animals .
That and the American Idol group are the only two groups
besides this one I post in anymore. Not enough time.......

Yeah, I peaked in that group just now and laughed when I saw he was still
insisting on using "The Browns" even though he lives on his own and isn't
married or anything.
Gave a nice little blurb about the FREE program we use to make the SVG
files. Adobe Illustrator is nice but really expensive. Ahhh, behold the
power of opensource.

The more the merrier! Our Resident Troll finally got his ISP
snatched away from him, so it's uber peaceful in there now.
Please feel free to join in the fun, and your brother, too! Carol
has reduced her posts to only once weekly, so the group has
slowed considerably. :o(
