Yeah, that's a big part of why I'm weeding. The grass shoots up waist high
in spring, then dries and becomes this nice path for fire to follow. Gotta
get it whacked down. In the front yard we have weed cloth with gravel over
it, so it's pretty easy to maintain. It still collects dust from the wind
and then the grass and weeds take root, but they're easy to yank when the
root ball is above the weed cloth and they have a single shallow taproot.
