You're right, I did. I remember the panic when Glenn told me
to change the shortcut destination. Talk about a lost little geeklette!
He (or someone else in Long Dongles) had to walk me through it.
Damn, I still don't remember how to get to the box with the info
in it. Right click, then Properties? Wait a sec...................
Ayep, there it is. Okay, so I did remember! Hot damn, I'm not
as stupid as I think I are! LOL
I fought all afternoon with my HP software to get some photos
printed the way I wanted to. I finally outfoxed it by dropping the
pics into Works doc.s, leaving the borders I wanted and printed them
that way. (I didn't have time to mat them correctly.)
I ain't so great with Word, but I sure do know how to get Works to
do what I want! And this newest version in the laptop is even easier to
use, what with some extra idiot-proofing for newbies.
And okay, I'll admit it: not only was getting used to XP easy, I
actually
see the advantages of it and LIKE it. (Don't have the big one, Troy!! LOL)
It is very stable, unlike the 9x and Me versions. I haven't outpaced it yet,
so no BSODs yet. I can do that more than once daily on the desktop. I
just click the mouse too fast, I guess...............
