Wow, Scotland. I should send you some cash and ask for a favor-
to buy something "Scottish" for me, like plaid fabric or something. I love
Irish linens and laces, as well as many plaids from Scotland.
Or a teacup and saucer- I've got 2 nice ones, and I'd love to collect
them. I know England is famous for their bone China, but I have no idea
what sort of dinnerware is found elsewhere over there.
Oh mercy, just ignore me- I bet your family drives you nuts with this
sort of thing all the time! I'll settle for any pictures you take and share,
as well as knowing you get back to port in one piece. 
Gosh, six weeks. I'll bet your girlfriend is mighty unhappy about that.
When would you start leaving from Scotland? I hope not too soon, as
it seems you're gone a lot now.
