| Yep. SoE is plying the SPAM Email airwaves heavily this Christmas. I
got maybe three over the past two months.
I see that they are bringing back the heavy weapons again. Acid Rifle
and Flame Thrower. Reckon the PvP whiners are going to kick up a fuss
about game balance when those weapons hit the game again??
Oh, and I see they are changing the targeting system yet again.
Man, These guys change their minds faster than a Liberal Senator at
election time!

| Actually... This first tier of Heavy Weapons (Acid Rifle, Flame Thrower &
Launcher Pistol) can be used by Anyone, not just Commandos. Thus, the
Commandos are a wee bit irritated, but the PvP Nuts don't seem too bothered.
Commandos have been promised a '2nd tier' of heavy weapon which will only be
usable by Commandos. This of course will be sometime Soon (TM)....
Targetting's only supposed to be changing for heavy weapons. Normal guns
are supposed to target/fire normally.

| yes, and again jedi will become alpha class again.

This is true, the NGE really has wrecked Jedi. As a Pre-CU Jedi, I hardly
logged my Jedi on for the first few weeks until they gave us armor. I could
fight semi-effectively against critters, but NPCs were suicide. Even now,
I've mainly ground out to Level 90 through doing quests.
Just having a sweep so you can hit everyone around you will make a big
difference.
Now if they can just get everyone some better animations, especially Jedi,
and change our armor to be innate so we can wear whatever we want, maybe
it'll look like SWG again.

For some reason that doesn't sound quite like I wanted, but I'm too tired to

| yeah I REFUSE to use a blaster its so uncivilized as one jedi said. But I
roleplay my toon and its fun to do what a jedi really does. To bad we dont
got the force powers itll the next pub to prove it to everyone how good jedi
is But then again this is weeding out the ones who only wanna be jedi casue
they saw the movies .

| I don't play my Jedi as a 'Jedi' but rather a different Force Using
Tradition, so I have no problem with using a blaster from time to time if
it's a better idea than my Mind-Tails...I just prefer not to. Thus, my
irritation with having to wear a Jedi Robe as opposed to my fleshwrap and
belted vest with sandals.
Oh well.
