The NGE - rumours circulate on its death

| It seems like crap is effecting the NGE, and rightly so. Apparently SOE
is deleting tons of posts on the forum, and Banning people at regular
intervels. This article was copied just before being banned and kinda
summs the rumours up

Wow, they removed a troll post? I don't see why. The person who typed
that up had reliable information from his "insider"!
Come on, it's still a forum and even you have to admit there are a lot of
folks trolling the SWG forums right now. Blaming SOE for censoring dissent
by enforcing their forum rules doesn't make any sense. ;-)
Making a post which is conductive to actual discussion is fine. Making
posts which can be summed up in, "I think the NGE sucks and I'm going to
whine all over the forums until my account expires!" isn't.

The original poster was the same 'insider' who spilled the bans on the NGE
changes 2 months in advance and was shouted down by a XXXXing idiot by
everyone and ignored. It was quite amusing reading his "told you so" bump on
the official forums before SOE banned his account and removed every single
one of his posts. They have even nerfed the search function on the site so
you can't search for any of the many people who quoted his original article.
And - in case you haven't been watching the forums - they are not removing
trolls. Trolls are the least of the concerns - most of the people getting
banned are those linking to this guys post on other forums (it has been
quoted wide and far) and those who post some of the other leaked info- like
upcoming player city nerfings.

| kinna funny, i thought the same guy that said jedi was going to be a dumbed
down starter profession and we were going to a clicky ckicky combat system
was a moronic idiot also just trolling to piss off the jedi forum. never
woulda dreamed jedi as a marketing tool or turning a mmorpg into a mmofps,
no decay destroying crafting, medic as god ect ect ect. i may not believe
every post i read now, but i only flame the fanbois and respec wannabes now.

| Are you sure ? i've read some of the post on the SWG site and there are
pro's and con's to what people are saying. i don't think anything will
change, did someone say something about Sony's license comming up or
expiring Feb time ??
