Looks good to me so far. I like the idea of having different combat
professions having different roles. I'm not as sure about how the medical
professions will work. It seems that healing won't take consumables for
medical professions but non-medical professions will use stims made by
bio-engineers.

| Seems to me what they meant is that docs will still use stims for healing,
they just won't make the stims themselves. Also non-docs will not be able
to use anything higher than stim-b.

Healing for docs is moving to the "magic" model. They just do it and
don't need stims. So docs are moving from a "I've got too many different
meds, and my backpack is full, and this is stupid" to "we don't want a
stinkin magic based healing system."
So, docs don't need meds, but they do get more out of them when they use
them. Don't don't want as many meds as before, but they would like some
sort of med-kit (permanent) or medicine (use based) to differentiate
this system from a magic healing system.

| I think it would be interesting if they got rid of magic heals of any kind.
Even healing with a stimpack is in a sense a magic heal. All the
medics/docs should be able to do is dress wounds, stop bleeds, and
administer antidotes for poisons and diseases. Anything more than that is
unrealistic even for Star Wars. In the movies and books the bacta tanks are
back in the lab, not out in the field. Realistic healing abilities would
make combat a lot more intense and less protracted.
