Privateer Tier III Missions (I need tips)
|
|
|
| All right so I've been almost tearing my hair out trying to do the
third mission you get from the trainer in Jabba's Palace. I've tried
about 6 times now. It's the mission where you have to deliver a cargo
from Jabba to different Imperial shuttles.
Here's what always gets me:
1) Just as you reach the first shuttle, a bunch of Deathwatch fighters
come out and blast you. Wave after wave after wave after wave etc.
2) After the first shuttle is done a big load of fighters pop out and
start trying to blast you. I usually skip them using IFF scramble.
3) The third shuttle is a really long escort mission with, again,
endless waves of Tier 4 ships.
So, does anyone have any tips for these missions? Anyone tried them
and got past them? Usually I try to disable the fighters so that the
next wave won't come so soon, but it doesn't always work. I've only
made it to part three of the mission once.

| I got lucky and the mission was sort of bugged, I think, when I did it. I got
through the 1st two parts extremely fast with no ships showing up. Best advice,
get help, and keep getting help. I'm on tier 4 now and its more difficult than
tier 3.

Remap a button on your joystick for selecting Reactors.
Remap a button on your joystick for targeting what's in front of you.
Drop ordanance and get bigger guns. You will run out of ordinance.
Trade for an Imperial Weapons Overload 2 command. (Use sparingly.)
Find the fastest regenning capacitor and shields that you can.
Go free-flying for a while to get a better feel for the ship, especially
just after you just modified the thing.
