Dodo's Turf (fragndie4)

I recently released a new deathmatch map called Dodo's Turf which I
made for a KP player mate of mine. It's a small, urban style arena map
with plenty of weapons and other items. It's the fourth map in the
Frag'n'Die series. Apart from three small rooms all the action takes
place outside in the courtyard area. You can climb up to a room
containing the HMG and also get up onto the ledges surrounding the
courtyard. It has twelve spawns and should be good for 2 - 16 players.
I have already loaded it onto the Detropolis Custom Maps Server

Bunkers'N'Blood V2

I have updated a very old dm map for Kingpin which was called
Bunkers'N'Blood and created by [THC]Bun. In the new version I have
totally redone the lighting, weapon placement, texturing, spawn points
and I have changed a little of the layout to give the map a better
flow. I have added another corridor that connects the two main areas,
changed the two main bunkers so you can run right around both of them,
removed the secret area, enlarged and moved the entries to the lower
corridor area and made a few other miscellaneous changes.

Bazooka3 Map Updated

Bazooka3 is a small arena style map made by R@T_Shit. It has a main
area with plenty of crates and boxes, some ledges around the sides of
the map and a platform up high where a RL and tommygun is located.
There is also a small alchove, where there is another RL and a GL,
which you get to by teleporting. It was a very popular map in it's day
but it had a major problem in that it only had one spawn point. A
couple of years ago Ganthet[BC] did a quick fix and added some more
spawn points, made the map lighter and did a few other things.
But it still had a few issues so I have now revised the map again and
released the updated version. I have fixed all the texture
misalignments, changed the weapon/item numbers and placement, changed
the lighting again and a few other miscellaneous fixes. There are now
ten spawn points and the HMG is located on the top platform instead of
the RL and tommy.I tested it with about 8 people and it seems to play
really well ;)

GibCity3

Gibcity3 is a large urban style deathmatch map for Kingpin. It is a
conversion of a Quake2 map which was made by Wayne W. Smith. It is a
large cityscape with lots of buildings and also includes a big
underground sewer area. The setting is in the evening and the map
includes a custom night sky. The map has been mostly retextured for
Kingpin and much of the map has been rebuilt. It has lots of weapons
and other items and 16 spawn points.

Entryway DM

This is the Entryway Level from Doom2. This map was originally made for
Quake2 by Hawkmoon as an enhanced version of the Doom2 Map01 -
Entryway. If you've ever played Doom2 you'll know the map for sure. It
uses all Doom2 textures, has a custom sky, and has ample weapons and
other items. Thanks go to Hypo_v8 for a couple of good suggestions and
for helping me sort out how to get the triggered platforms working
properly in the map

Outer Base

Outer Base is a conversion to Kingpin of the first Single Player map in
Quake2. It's a medium sized map which anyone who has played the SP game
in Q2 will be familiar with. Most of the Q2 textures have been replaced
with Kingpin ones and it uses a standard KP sky environment. It has
ample weapons and items and should be fun for 6+ players.

Midnight

This is a conversion of the SiN DM level Midnight. It's a medium sized
map set in a sort of bio-chemical plant. It uses all the original SiN
textures and custom sky environemnt giving it a nice sort of official
secret facility feel. It has ample weapons and items and one teleport.
Not sure why this map was called Midnight though as the sky environemt
looks like it is the middle of the day lol.

DMArena H2A

{GT}Knight has released a new DM map which is a conversion back to KP
of the Heretic2 version of DMArena.
DMArena is a map originally made for KP by Optimizer and then converted
to Heretic2 by Ablation.
It's a small arena style map, two levels, lava and {GT}Knight has used
the original Heretic2 textures.

Greystone Shuffle

Greystone Shuffle is a medium sized DM map for Kingpin. It is a
conversion of the Quake2 map by Shon "Maric" Shaffer , who is an
excellent and prolific Quake2 mapper. The map is mainly open with 2
levels. It uses mostly all KP textures, has a gothic type theme, and
has ample weapons and other items.

Cujo's Warehouse

Cujo and me have colaborated on another deathmatch map called Cujo's
Warehouse. This is a small fragfest map set in a warehouse. It uses a
combo of SoF2 and KP textures and has ample weapons for a map this
size. It has 8 spawns and should be fun with 4+ ppl.

DM Shot Gun

UnevenRatio has now released his first map for Kingpin. Its called DM
Shot Gun and is a small two roomed map which uses mainly light coloured
textures. There are two main rooms connected via corridors and lots of
crates and barrels strewn around the rooms. For an interesting twist
the only weapon is the shotgun which probably eventuated as UnevenRatio
has a real liking for RealMode

Awakening To Danger

Awakening to Danger is a large DM map for Kingpin. It is a conversion
of a Quake2 map by Shon Shaffer "Maric" (thanks to Maric for allowing
the conversion to KP). This is a multi levelled map, with both indoors
and outdoor areas. It uses mostly KP textures, with a mixture of bricks
and mortar and grass and rocks textures. It has heaps of weapons and
other items and should be fun with 4 to 16 players.

RA Q3Test2

{GT}Knight has converted this Quake2 map to Kingpin. This map started
life in Quake2 when the Quake3 Demo was released. It is a version of
The Longest Yard map from Q3 which was one of the maps in the Q3 Demo
and someone converted it to Quake2. Then Panzer has come along and made
a Q2 RA version of the map using what looks like Serious Sam textures.
Then Knight has converted this version to KP. Anyone who has played Q3
will know this map like the back of their hand and it's nice to see
another version of it in KP.

Deep Blue Arena

This is a small arena style DM map for Kingpin. It is a conversion
another Quake2 map by Shon Shaffer "Maric". Deep Blue Arena is set in
an underwater base of some kind. It uses mostly custom textures, has 14
player spawns and has ample weapons and other items for a map of this
size.

It has been extensively tested (thanks to all who helped) and has had
several small changes made (thanks to Method for all the suggestions)
and I think the conversion has turned out really well

Fragfest3 revised

Fragfest3 is a great liitle map but only had five player spawns. I have
now taken that number up to thirteen and also did a few other fixes. I
changed some of the wall textures, added two billboard signs, removed
two of the seven cooling mods (lol) and removed one of the three
flamers. I added a backpack, adrenaline and one more tommy.

Chinatown Brawl Revised

I was asked to update the Chinatown Brawl map after playing it recently
at Detropolis. It's a good map but had only four spawn points so it
badly needed some more.
I added six spawns so the map now has 10. I also added a heap of clip
brushes so you no longer get caught on edges and corners. I changed
some of the weapon and item placement and numbers and tidied up some of
the brushes and texturing.
Chinatown Brawl is a small, claustrophobic map, with a tight layout
which was created by Sgt. Pepper and Racer(BSE) back in 1999. It has
one main area with a metal tower in the centre, also a sewer and some
small areas and corridors connecting to the main area. If you've played
KP for a while you will surely know this map

Tracks Revised

Tracks Revised

This is a revision of the Tracks beta map made in 2000 by [DKC]Angry
Beaver.
The map is a smallish DM map set in a train station. The map contains
the station building, the platform, some other buildings, a back
courtyard area and an underground passage. It has 10 player spawns and
ample weapons and items.

Changes I made is adding more spawn points, changed the lighting and
some of the texturing, changed the weapon and item amount and
placement, added a passageway between two rooms and fixed a problem
with some window textures that 'flickered'.
