Robot sounds (D1 bots)

| Does anyone know why many of the mech's "voices" were changed between demo
and full version of D1? To wit:
Blue drone from insectile whine to the "ZIM!" sound.
Wolf-shaped driller from the scream to a squeak
The green diamond claws changed to the thief voice.
I think there are others (red spider?), but it escapes me for the moment.

| It came bundled on my first PC. I reloaded it just a few years ago and was
struck by the different sounds. I think it's still downloadable someplace.
The music was different as well. Same songs, just done differently.
