| This may be a dumb question, but are
different versions of D2X-XL compatible
when playing online?
If I were to host a game with the UDP/IP
tracker using version 1.5.28 and some
other players who are still running the
version 1.5.127 try to join, can they
connect?

D2X-XL netcode may vary slightly across D2X-XL versions, but this will
only affect global D2X-XL specific multiplayer settings made by a
D2X-XL gamehost (e.g. entropy settings).
I recommend to always upgrade to the latest version though.
