| Are there any Descent II walkthroughs still
posted somewhere? Moon, got your's back up?
(I'm talking web site... get you minds' out of the gutter)
I'm having trouble with the boss on level 20.
I hit that bugger with 4 Earthshakers already
and it hasn't even slowed him down.
Seems to be immune to Gauss and Mega Missiles too.

Yep, you gotta use energetic weapons like the Phoenix. Also due to a bug in
version 1.0, the boss is indestructable on ACE and INSANE but I guess
you've already patched to 1.2?

Thanks for the tip. I avoided energy weapons because when you
hit him with one he spews plasma back at you... diabolical!
Now that you remind me, I do remember hearing about this boss bug.
But, yes, I am running v.1.2 (DX2-Xl).
