I run Descent 3 via Windows 2000 Professional and it RUNS but I have a bad
video card that makes everything darker then it is supposed to be. I have to
use Powerstrip to boost my brightness level but when I open Powerstrip with
D3 running it er... makes everything not colored... help me!

This is a normal "problem" which can be fixed by a setting INSIDE
Descent3: When D3 is launched (started) click "Options" and in the
lower-left corner there is a button "adjust brightness". Adjust it to
something like "2.1" and check if it is now ok.

If this doesn't help you may have some faulty ATI-driver. In the
graphic-card / driver settings you can adjust the gamma for 3D-Apps in
that case...

Good luck!
