If you haven't configured your controls, do so now. It's much easier to
create your own keybindings and remember what they were. It will also be
an improvement, as Descent's keybindings were never good to begin with.

For example, E-S-D-F mapped to ground-relative movemtn, A-Z for altitude.
You can then place countermeasures to a nearby key and still have more keys
available.
