| Hi, 3dgamer.com lists a 'dual-jewel' patch for descent3. Anyone know what
the relation of this to the retail 1.4 patch is, and do i need it ?

I think you would know if you need it or not. You would of gotten an error
trying to patch a "dual-jewel" version.

The "dual-jewel" patch is for the 3-CD bundle of Descent 3 and Descent 3:
Mercenary. You'll know if you have it.
Not sure what it fixes offhand, but it was in the news for a couple of days
on most major Descent sites.
