How do you play D3 online?

Sorry to post to my own post......

I have tried the update option from the D3 panel and the 'play online'
option. Have registered my interest but the web page seems to hang.....

Grateful for any tips as I love D3.

Descents native multiplayer service "PXO" does not live anymore.
But playing Descent online is still possible. Point your browser to
www.planetdescent.com
and download and install the patch to version 1.4. Search the same site for a
list of TCP IP games. Note the games with the lowest ping and start d3.
Start a multiplayer game via direct TCP/IP protocoll and prepare to
gettyour XXX kicked like you never thought it would be possible.
Do not give up.
