Hello,

I have a little problem with D1 & D2.
I have W98 and XP.
I can have the music, but not the sound with my sound blaster live.
I try the two OS but it is the same résult.

Is there anybody who can help me ? Do you have a solution ?

Just another question, where can I find D3 ?

Thanks
JP

Try this:

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI....&category=11047

If the auction is closed by the time you read this, I actually have a
copy of Descent 3 with the Mercenary expansion pack - all as new,
never installed - so better than the auction above (which has nothing
to do with me by the way).

If you'd like to buy mine then let me know via this newsgroup.

For Windows XP, you need to find a program known as "VDMSound" to get sound
working in Descent 1 and the Dos version of Descent 2. (Windows version of
Descent 2 should have sound support without any problem.)

Altenativly, you can use the D1X and D2X source ports. They are not only
native to the Windows envrionment, but also allow fixing other problems
such as the homing missile problem (too accurate in framerates above 35.)

Thanks, that's nice, but I live in France and this product is located in
England.

At what prize do you sell it ?
