Descent forums - D2 under Win XP?

D2 under Win XP?

Has anyone been able to run Descent 2 properly under Windows XP? I am
able to run it, but my gamepad (Gravis Game Pad Pro) is so slow when I
want to move my ship forward, it would take me hours to get through a
level. Also, I have been stuck right in front of a door even though the
door was open...I have tried to move my ship in every possible
direction, but to no avail. Thanks a lot if anyone can help!
