Dear All

Has anyone managed to run DI's Tornado on Windows 2000 - with FULL
sound?

I just discovered that Win2000's DOS window
gives me tons of Conventional RAM to run Tornado.
Unfortunately, no sound.

I've discovered VDM sound on the Net but have yet to
try it out, hence my question....

http://sourceforge.net/projects/vdmsound/

Thanks in advance.

FWIW.. I didn't try with VDMSound (or Win2k) but it works fine using
DosBox and XP.. see

I always thought this sim, the absolute best mud mover evar made for
the pc, had sound quality about as good as a vibrator with a telephone
ringer for an RWR.

To this day I get a twinge of nervousness when I hear
a real telephone ring (1). Are there versions with other sounds?

(1) well, not really. There aren't real telephone bells anymore
anyway.
