F/A-18 Patch for win 2000 pro

| hy All,
i'm writing from Rome-Italy and i'm new on this pace so excuse me in
advance for question: i'm look in for the patch for win 2000 pro of my
prefer game (f-18A by jane's) from mounths i'm not able to install the
game on my pc where I changed the operative system. I'm passed from win
98 to win2000.
can we help me where i can download the driver?, pleeeeeeeeese! i'll
waiting for with hope. mike ciao

Try these instructions from this page:

After installing the compatibility update, open windows explorer, go to
the cd and find the install program. Right click on the install program
create shortcut. Because it cannot write to the cd it'll ask if you want
to place it on your desktop. Answer yes. Right click the desktop
shortcut and set the compatibility for win98. Then run it. Hopefully it
will run ok. When it's done you can put the shortcut in the recycle bin.
Then find F18.exe in the install directory and right click it and set
the compatibility for win98. You should good to go then.
If it still doesn't work there are newer versions of the compatibility
update available on the net. It is possible to install and run Jane's
F/A-18 on W2k.

Oops. After the right click, *select properties*, then the compatibility
tab.

it's how you access the Compatibility tab to set the application to
another version of windows, or was on my old Win2000. MS changed the
User Interface for it. At first it was an application, and the they
added a tab in each files' Property dialog.
