Hello,
I have been flying on a homemade flight simulator that I bought at an
airplane show. I have been using a Tower Hobbies System 3000 TX to fly
the sim airplanes. I have never tried the heli's until recently, keep
in mind I have never flown heli's, but I can't setup the calibration
correctly to even get in the air. Could anyone tell me what stick
controls what; i.e. throtte-is it left-stick up and down? what
controls tilt, etc. etc.? Or can't I fly heli's with my TX? Thank you
for anyhelp you can offer me.

Left stick Y axis controls both your throttle and collective pitch
controls. i.e. Primary control is the pitch that changes the total
volume of air drawn through the rotor, a secondary function is that it
also affects the throttle to maintain rotor rpm.

Left stick X axis controls the anti-torque tail rotor. (Left should
turn the nose to the left, not the tail.)

Right stick Y axis tilts the cyclic pitch forward and aft, and X axis
tilts the cyclic pitch left and right, i.e. it moderates the pitch of
the blades as they rotate to drawn more air in a particular direction to
create a thrust moment to tilt the rotor.
