Just picked this title up yesterday at Best Buy....
Was wondering, how come I don't recall it being mentioned here? Or is
it just my early onset Alzheimer....?

It may just be me, but it seems like popularity for the SF series seems
spotty. I've got WoVN and, while the graphics look nice, it's too easy
to remember how much a simulator the game isn't, with Phantoms that
handle like F-16's, and Sparrows that work like AIM-120's.
Do you have the older games? How does WOE improve on the older ones,
besides offering new weapons, planes and settings?

Yar, I have both Strike Fighters and WoV. The new title gives you the
choice to import all the planes and terrain from WoV, so, it saves you
a shortcut, anyway
It's been a busy week,so, I haven't had time to get into it at all,
other than setting up an A-10 single mission to see if the install was
good.
My initial impression was Strike Fighters = WoV = WoE.

You mean that the game itself doesn't improve over successive
generations - not even in the way that MSFS does?
