The Microsoft Flight Simulator team will be an official sponsor of the 2006
AVSIM Convention, where they will display the latest technology and features
of the upcoming release, FSX. In addition, team members Mike Zyskowski,
Program Manager - Developer Relations, Hal Bryan, MSFS Community Evangelist,
and Brett Schnepf, Community Manager, Flight Simulation will be our featured
key note speakers at our Awards Banquet on Saturday evening, September 16th.
The Microsoft team will be exhibiting at the convention, and will sponsor a
"Microsoft Flight Simulator Day" on Sunday, September 17th. On Sunday, the
MSFS team will provide four hours of paper presentations on the latest
flight simulation technology, and will participate in an hour long question
and answer session following their papers presentation. Finally, Microsoft
will please a number of attendees at the Friday night social, and many
attendees of the three day event will walk away with a MS team provided
surprise.

us for the most important gathering of flight simulation enthusiasts this
year! The Microsoft FS team will be there in a big way with news, papers and
displays of the next technology in Flight Simulation - MS FX or MS FS-10.

I used to be a pretty frequent visitor and poster here, and I do try to read
the groups even when on travel. However, since January 1st of this year I
have been out of the country about 60% of the time, so haven't had much time
to post.

Pretty funny. What makes you think that we don't know who you are?
Actually, you used to post very often and I remember when you were a
regular.

Just that for Avsim and the "Others" who are always very busy posting whats
new and reviews and everything else that goes on to have time to actually
listen in and pay attention to what we do here is pretty mind boggling don't
you think. Hehe.

We forget that in our day to day lives this distraction has grown large and
wide (Its Not a Hobby). I was looking at the PMDG Forums last night and I
was reading a post and then it hit me. I was reading an answer to a post by
Mr Grabowski who is now on staff there. But I remember the days that we
were all scrambling around trying to get his latest version for his panels
for the EMB's.

Maybe just a little reality check from our corner of the net I guess.
