Author New flight WW2 sim from IL2 Makers??

Do the IL2 makers have any new WW2 sims coming out? They have made the best
WW2 sims ever made would love to see what they do to improve on an already
great sim. Perhaps have actual troops on the ground that you can strafe,
then fly around and come back to see the mangled bodies that you just
strafed. Or if you bail out the sim turn into a fisrt person shooter as
you stuggle to stay alive as you make your way back to your lines.

Remember JSF? if you ejected, you could land and run around on the
ground.

And with a hand gun. Cool sim in many ways.

You could complete missions, if you had enough bullets. Great
software-only graphics too; you could put off buying that new card a
bit longer.

Sounds like Corncob - a sort of sci-fi flight sim where you flew a
Corsair against aliens that invaded Earth during what would have been
the WWII era. You could leave your plane and IIRC plant explosives.

Or Flying Nightmares 2 (which was killed). A wannabe that included not only
flight simming but a FPS all in a single package.

Pretty good concept if you ask me. Battlefield series is getting closer but
much too much focus on the FPS/arcade side.

I got BF-VN because I thought it would be nifty to hop into Huey Cobras
or Mil gunships, but the implementation was clumsy. I'm not into MP,
which leaves my options for such games quite limited. If you're only
into SP, the Battlefield series probably isn;t for you.

Also, I haven't been buying cutting-edge games of late, but aren't the
makers of Il-2 using Starforce on their games?
