Looks like Ubisoft is doing their part to keep supporting PC games.
There are some movies of gameplay action out there and they look pretty
decent, close to the screenshots. The game looks playable with the
player's plane looking like it is flying over a scene rather than the
scene flying past the plane, unlike the last couple of arcade flight
simulators that came out. Of course, the PC version will support much
higher resolutions with higher frame rates and probably flight stick
support.

Oh dear, Paperclip has resorted to posting pictures of XBOX 360 games
so he can then tack on 'well the PC versions gonna be better' as a way
of bashing the XBOX 360.

Slow news day?

Maybe it's because there have been two bits of bad news related to the
PS3, like the AACS Blu-Ray delay, and the slowdown of UMD releases....

Or perhaps, the fact that he has been utterly spanked in YET ANOTHER
thread, where he has tried arguing a point and just proving how little
he really knows.

I'll give you this, Paperclip, you bail out when you know you're not
going to win an argument. Sadly, you just repeat the same old lies and
make yourself look a fool again in other new threads.....

Is there a PC demo? Pretty sure the Xbox won't be able to
handle this without squeezing it down to dvd size, and a lot
of jerky flying around.

It's coming to the XBox 360 and it will handle it easily

I saw the 360 screenshots in Game Informer in the Feb issue. They look
AMAZING.

PS, this is not a "flight sim", unless you consider Crimson Skies a flight
sim, too.

Hope it has an awesome physics engine and that they make the flight model
realistic.

I don't consider CS to be a flight sim, but I do consider it to be a
terrific action game and a heck of a fun multiplayer title. It had
some of the best produced cut scenes of any modern game.

Heroes of the Pacific looks quite good on the Xbox and has a pretty decent
frame rate...Blazing Angels looks pretty comparable to it, actually.

Any word on a Crimson Skies sequel for the 360?

Never said Crimson Skies wasn't a great game -- it's just an action game
with planes, not a flight sim.

No. You'll have to make do with the original Crimson Skies for the XBox (and
I believe it's backward compat for the 360).

Nope. It will not have a realistic flight model. It's NOT a flight sim -
it's an action game a la Crimson Skies.

Look at those Spitfires with 1000 pounders under the wings intercepting
Heinkels--what REALISM!

I'm not a WWII buff, so I'll hazard a guess and assume that's a complete
impossibility on the realm of elephants flying with large, floppy ears?

Well, give it back, you're getting it all small and shrivelled.
