Author F4AF versus FF3

Well now I have them both and can really see no difference. FF3 has
much nicer graphic scenery but the game play seems the same. I guess
all of the training missions are the same. I ocasionally go back
through these as I forget from time to time how to do certain things.
I've complained that publishers don't send hard copy manuals anymore as
it is impossible to fly a training mission and keep alt-tabbing the sim
to read how to do things( much better to have the book at your side.)
But then I still have my Falcon4 binder so I guess I can use it. So the
final question is " Is there really any reason why I should have bought
F4AF?"
I would most appreciate your responses.
